Oceanteam Shipping appoints new Company Captain
As of June 1, 2016, Holger Reurslag joined Oceanteam Shipping as Company Captain. With a maritime career stretching over 25 years, the new Company Captain has extensive experience in the offshore construction, drilling and production sector. Before accepting this new challenge, Reurslag worked among others for Seadrill and for an international owner and operator of FPSOs around the world.
The Company Captain will be responsible for a wide range of (managerial) tasks, including the management of the vessel’s crew and the execution of quality, health, safety and environmental policies on board. He will report directly to Oceanteam’s management team.
Mathieu Feisthauer, fleet manager of Oceanteam Shipping, says he is ‘very happy to welcome such a broadly experienced professional on board’ and that he has ‘high expectations regarding Reurslag’s execution of this complex and demanding job’. Holger Reurslag states he is ‘proud to be a member of the highly professional Oceanteam family now’ and that he looks forward raising the quality bar wherever he can.
Oceanteam Shipping owns, charters and manages deep-water offshore support vessels and fast support vessels. It is part of Oceanteam ASA, that also offers expertise in (rental) marine equipment, cable logistics and design engineering (Oceanteam Solutions).
